Friday, March 29th

It's Good Friday. Looking for a book to chill with over the Easter break? Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel, Hassall Road has had a makeover and is open 10 am until 2 pm. There's also a church service at 12.30 pm with the Rev Rob Hilton.

They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

After you've grabbed a new book to read why not head to Bod Alsager for one of their Easter drink treats? A great choice between mini egg hot chocolate, creme egg hot chocolate and white chocolate and pistachio mocha.

Fancy some music? The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has a cracking line-up of Easter music kicking off with Conscious Minds on Good Friday at 8.30 pm. Don't miss them!

Saturday, March 30th

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

The Alsager Craft & Gift Fair is back at Alsager Civic. Supporting a wide range of local artisans, crafters, makers, creators, designers and small businesses, there's a host of things on sale which you can't find on the high street from 9 am until 1 pm.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to Droylsden with a 3 pm kick-off.

Sunday, March 31st

Don't forget the clocks go forward an hour!

Fancy some music and a drink? The Mere Inn in Crewe Road has another great night ahead - the mighty 'Amen Brother' will be doing their thing from 8.30 pm.

Monday, April 1st

Alsager Golf & Country Club has a crown green bowling open day. Anyone is welcome to attend. It takes place from 10.30 am until 4 pm for people of all ages.....just turn up....bowls provided and free to hire. Free advice and free bowling. Just wear flat soled shoes.

Fancy watching some football? Alsager Town aka The Bullets has a local derby at home. They take on Sandbach United with a 3 pm kick-off. Support your local team!

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 3pm if you fancy buying a book. Details in the article under Friday 29th.  

Winding down after a busy weekend? The Mere Inn has another great event - 'Jody Jennings' playing a laid-back acoustic set from 5pm until 7 pm.
