Thursday, March 21st

The Mere Inn has its Spring Wine tasting evening at 7 pm. Harry, from Cepage, will taking you through a selection of wines including a glass of fizz on arrival . Wines will also be available to purchase on the evening. Tickets are £25 and include a British charcuterie plate.

Alsager Golf & Country Club Jazz Society at Alsager Golf & Country Club in Audley Rd welcome vocalist Julie Edwards and saxophonist Kevin Dearden with the Al Gurr Trio.

A nominee for the Yorkshire Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Edwards has over 25 years of experience as a professional musician. Joining her on the saxophone will be talented multi-instrumentalist Dearden. 

The rhythm section will be led by outstanding pianist Al Gurr who has pursued a freelance musical career since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire back in 1991.

It starts at 8pm. All welcome, £7 cash on the door 

 

Friday, March 22nd

Looking for a book to chill with after during these cold days? Have you been to Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road Methodist Chapel in Hassall Road? They have a book on almost every subject and some of them are new, especially cookery books.

Fancy a quiz? The Linley Tavern has a 'Question of Sport' quiz starting at 8 pm. The cost is £10 per team. Free food during the break, cash and bar tab prizes to be won!

Saturday, March 23rd

Alsager Book Emporium is open again from 10 am until 2 pm.

Alsager Town Football Club aka The Bullets are away to New Mills with a 3 pm kick-off.

Award-winning local singer/musician is live at The Manor House Hotel & Spa from 5 pm until 8 pm. Don't miss this chance to see him. More details about the local legend here

There's a fundraising night for The Christie Hospital at Alsager Cricket Club starting at 8.30 pm featuring Hannah Christina. All welcome.

At Scholar Green Village Hall at Scholar Green, there's the 'Me & Mrs Jones' comedy night. This is the comedy night's fourth event at Scholar Green. The 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Comedy award 'Best Newcomer' nominee, 'Chris Washington', is headlining the show. Doors open 7.30 pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £15 (over 18's only) through this link here

Monday, March 25th
