Roll up, roll up! The circus is coming to town and everyone is invited!

Alsager Highfields Parent and Friends Association (PFA) thought it would be fun to host a circus for the whole community for its summer fair.

And on Saturday June 22nd that's exactly what's happening – Alsager Highfields Community Primary School in Fairview Avenue is hosting a circus.

The circus in question is the National Festival Circus, which is celebrating over 35 years on the road this year.

It's a traditional family fun circus with a big top, award-winning circus artists, slapstick comedy, Miss Molly contortionist, acrobat and more.

A spokesperson from Alsager Highfields PFA said: "We're hoping to raise much-needed funds to help us to make improvements to the outside space at the school.

"We thought it would be fun to host a circus for the whole community, rather than our usual summer fair."

As well as the circus, there will also be a BBQ, bar and games from 12 noon on the school field.

Performances take place at 1 pm, 2.30 pm and 4 pm. Individual tickets are £10, under 2 £1, £35 for a family of four and £40 for a family of five.
