Santa and his little helpers were out and about in Alsager this morning (Sunday) bringing some festive cheer on his twinkling bike.

Foggy weather didn't deter the big man from getting on his bike and cycling round Alsager with the help of Alsager Harlequins Cycling Club.

The big man is set off from Alsager Golf Club at 9.30am on Sunday and arrived back at the club just around 11.15 am.

He and his helpers had lots of fun and laughter checking to see everyone had got their Christmas decorations up and lights on to shine the way for him.

A spokesman from Harlequins Cycling Club said: "We had a great time and he was very well received.

"We hope we brought some Christmas cheer to families and spread some more happiness around the town."

Members of Harlequins Cycling Club dressed in festive attire for the occasion, decorating their bikes with tinsel and playing Christmas tunes.
