An interactive map shows the exact percentages of people with first and second jabs.

An interactive map has shown the exact percentage of people that have had their first and second Covid jabs in each area of Alsager.

A map on the Government website allows users to view up to date percentages of everyone aged 12 and above who has received each vaccine.

The data is broken down into each area of Alsager allowing us to see which areas of the town are most vaccinated.

The percentage of people aged 12+ vaccinated up to and including 16 December can be found in full below:

Alsager West

First dose – 89.2 %

Second dose: 83.4%

Alsager East

First dose – 89.9%

Second dose – 85.3%

Scholar Green, Rode Heath & Brereton

First dose – 90%

Second dose – 86%

As you can see from the stats, the most vaccinated area of Alsager is Alsager East with nearly 90 % of residents having received at least one dose.

However, the town is still performing well both locally and nationally when compared to other areas.

For example, there are areas of Stoke-on-Trent where less than 70% of residents have received at least one jab, and in some parts of London this figure even drops below 50%.

Unfortunately there is not yet any data available on how many local residents have received their booster jabs, but this will likely be revealed in the future and we will be sure to post an update here on Nub News.
