Local people affected by dementia are getting a boost - thanks to an Alsager-based band.

Double Denim Company held a concert to raise money for the local dementia group in Alsager after two of the band members were directly affected by it.

After a great night of classic rock in Alsager's 13 Club in Cedar Avenue, they raised £1215 and handed the money over to Kath Reader from Dementia Friendly Alsager on Tuesday (May 20th)

A spokesperson from the Double Denim company said: "Huge thanks to Steve Johnson from the 13 Club for hosting the night and donating the fee to the charity as well."
