Alsager could have a Lidl after the expanding German discount retailer pinpointed the town in a new property list.
Lidl says it's on track "to meet its ambitious target" of 1,100 stores by the end of 2025.
Alsager, nearby Sandbach and Holmes Chapel are all listed in the company's property brochure which has just been released..
The document of site requirements also earmarks new Lidl's in Macclesfield North, and Crewe.
Richard Taylor, Lidl GB's Chief Development Officer said: "We know that the majority of British shoppers still love doing their shopping in person and we are as committed as ever to opening new stores and enhancing our existing ones.
"We're opening an average of one new store a week, which is incredible, and our teams have done a phenomenal job of keeping that pace going over the last couple of years.
"Our finder's fees are, therefore, available to absolutely anyone that can identify a viable option for a new store that we're not already aware of, and we welcome any suitable suggestions that will help up us to meet our ambitious target of 1,100 stores by the end of 2025."
Lidl is asking anyone with suitable land to get in touch with its Nottingham Property Office, Lidl GB Ltd, Eastgate Way, Manor Park, Runcorn, WA7 1NT Name: Dominic Bryan Tel: 01928 532863 E-mail: [email protected]
