Calling all litter pickers – would you like to help make Alsager a litter-free place and improve public and green spaces in the town?

Alsager Community Support and Alsager Connected Communities Partnership are joining forces to launch a Clean Team in Alsager.

The first litter pick will take place on Saturday 4th December 10am-12pm followed by refreshments for volunteers at Bank Corner.

Meet at 10am outside Alsager Community Support Centre – on the edge of Fairview car park (by Asda).

A spokesman from Alsager Community Support said: "It is hoped to have monthly litter picks in the future.

.

"This is a great opportunity to meet others, get outside and make Alsager an even better place.

"Bring your litter picker, hi viz tabard/jacket and gloves and if you don't have these, we can provide them.

"Bags and hoops will be provided and full training will be given. Under 18s are welcome and must be accompanied by a parent or carer."
