A quartet of Alsager businesses have won the annual Christmas shop window competition organised by Alsager Partnership.

And now four local charities are each to get £50 each thanks to the four winners who each donated a charity of their choice.

The four winning windows were Flower Passion, Stephenson Browne Sales & Lettings, Alsager, Two Doors Studio and Alsager Vets4Pets

The four charities to benefit are Headway UK Alsager, Alsager Food Bank, Heydays and Alsager Animals in need.

The judging team was made up of an Alsager Partnership management team representative, the town centre manager and Alsager Town Council clerk.

Lou Davis, project manager, Alsager Partnership said: "The winners were all visited by Father Christmas and the judging team representatives to hand over the winners' certificates.

"We would like to thank all those who took part to make Alsager look special during this festive period."
