Excalibur Primary School raised just under £1,000 for St Luke's Cheshire Hospice through their Rudolph Run prior to Christmas.

The primary school raised £988, after each year group had twenty minutes to run or walk as many laps of the school playground as possible on 10 December.

A spokesperson for Excalibur Primary School said: "Many thanks to everyone who donated and well done to all members of Excalibur, both children and staff, who took part."

The money raised will go towards the great work which St Luke's Hospice undertakes daily, from providing the cost of a nurse's, therapy for patients and pain relief.
