The Cheshire Show is one of the highlights of the year, showcasing the very best from the county.

This year it was held over two days, as usual, and thousands flocked to see some of the best on display from the county.

A Nub News reader captured some of the highlights for us as well as playing in the Elworth Silver Band.

It was an amazing event and the sun shone for the occasion.

Congleton MP, Fiona Bruce, is president of the Cheshire Show.

Fiona, whose constituency covers Sandbach and Alsager, says it is a privilege to have been invited to be president of the show in 2022.

She said: "The Royal Cheshire County Show is not only one of the foremost agriculture shows in the United Kingdom but also one of the longest standing, having been inaugurated as long ago as 1838.

"Since then show has become firmly established as a focal event in the life of farming families and the winder community here in Cheshire, providing an opportunity to showcase the best we have to offer to the county and beyond.

"I pay tribute to all those whose hard work, much of it voluntary, makes the Royal Cheshire County Show such a huge success."
