Calling all youngsters – have you ever wanted to learn the art of using a bow and arrow?

Alsager Company of Archers is running a taster session on Monday, May 6th for youngsters aged 10 – 16 years old.

The company meets at Cranberry Academy in Cranberry Lane and this is where the session will take place from 10 am until 12 noon.

Alsager Nub News featured the company in a story here where we told the history behind the name.

They are called a "company" as when archery was at its height in the distant past the group was called a "company".

Alsager Company of Archers has around 91 members and showcases their skills at various events including the Cheshire Show.

More details about the company are available here
