A community organisation set up to bring a real buzz to Alsager is asking residents to send in their photos.

Alsager in Bloom wants to hear from residents who are doing or have done something environmental in their garden or neighbourhood.

The group, who have a Facebook page (click the link) https://www.facebook.com/alsagerinbloom want to include Alsager in their 2023 portfolio.

A spokesperson said: "Send us a photo and a short comment about what you have done. We'd love to hear from you."

Alsager in Bloom won as gold award in the Royal Horticultural Society's Britain in Bloom North West contest in the large town category last year.

Alsager Nub News told here https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/alsager-in-bloom-wins-gold-in-prestigious-rhs-competition-for-the-north-west-155896 how judges praised the group's work.

"Alsager in Bloom has done a fantastic job putting on a show stopping display and colour within the town," a spokesperson said.

"There are beautiful planted troughs, hanging baskets and flower beds within the town. The plant quality for the summer bedding was excellent, with vibrant colours and plants growing to their full potential.

"The enthusiasm of residents and the community volunteers was infectious - their love of plants and flowers gave you the feel-good factor."

Now the group wants to get their portfolio together for 2023 – send your photos into them as soon as possible.
