Calling all Agatha Christie fans ... an Alsager book shop has just the thing for super sleuths

It's World Book Day today (Thursday) and an Alsager book shop has the just the thing for book lovers.

Retired church minister, Rev Malcolm Lorimer, an author himself,  set up Alsager Book Emporium in Hassall Road as a base for selling second-hand books.

It also raises money for Englesea Brook Chapel and Museum and has thousands of books for sale, some new, some used.

The book shop, which we featured here in a previous Alsager Nub News story https://alsager.nub.news/news/local-news/inside-the-alsager-haven-for-book-lovers-run-by-a-retired-church-minister-and-author-162039 is open on Fridays and Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm.

lsager Book Emporium has children's books plus books on just about every subject imaginable from travel to cookery and music.

And currently on the shelves is two almost complete sets of Agatha Christie novels. One set has three stories in each volume, the other is single stories.

 

It's a book lover's paradise!
