A Sandbach artist has worked wonders as an Alsager boutique renovates a building which it will eventually move into.

Victoria Holland of Victoria's Art Studio has created an eye-catching fashion-type work- of-art on the windows of a new shop in Lawton Road.

The town's famous Wall Street boutique is moving into new premises at the beginning of next year from its current location opposite Alsager Civic.

But while the renovation work is going on, a mural has been created on the windows of the new premises further down the road in Lawton Road.

Wall Street owner, Kay Latham, said: "It's very colourful and eye-catching. It provides a bit of privacy while we continue with work inside.

"The rain has put us back a bit on work outside but we're moving forward with the work at the new shop."

Wall Street will continue to have two locations in the town, both in Lawton Road, until next February, with new autumn stock going into the new shop.

From February next year, when the lease runs out on the old shop, Wall Street will just have the one location near Alsager post office.

The current Wall Street shop will eventually have discounted stock and sale stock will also be available upstairs at the new premises.

Wall Street has been in the town for 32 years, first locating at Chapel Mews before moving to its current location in around 2000.

Sandbach artist, Victoria Holland, is renowned for her shop murals which feature all over Cheshire, including her home town Sandbach as we revealed here .
