The Bullets were due to play a home match tonight but it's cancelled due to a partly frozen pitch.

Alsager Town's match tonight (Tuesday) has been cancelled due to bad weather.

A spokesperson for Alsager Town, aka The Bullets, said freezing temperatures overnight had caused problems.

"Part of the pitch hasn't thawed adequately enough to deem it playable," said a spokesperson.

"Therefore, tonight's game has been postponed. We will get this game played and will announce the date once we have it."

Alsager Town, currently members of North West Counties League Division One South, were due to play Rocester in a 7.45 pm kick-off at their Wood Park Stadium.
