Alsager Mayor has unfortunately cancelled her Civic Service

The Mayor of Alsager has cancelled her Civic Service due to "lack of interest".
Each year, the Mayor holds a Civic Service and this year, and this year's was due to take place on Sunday, September 15th at 3 pm at St Mary Magdalene's Church in Crewe Road.
However a post on Alsager Town Council's website says: " Unfortunately, due to lack of interest, The Mayor of Alsager Town Council, Councillor Jane Hearne, has had to cancel her Civic Sunday Service on 15 September 2024.
