During the Pandemic, parks and green spaces have been vital to our mental well-being and Cheshire East Council is asking local residents to take part in a survey which will help shape the future of them.

Local residents have just one day left to give their views in the Municipal Parks Strategy, the closing date for which is tomorrow (January 5th).

A spokesperson said: "Over recent years and months we have experienced greater pressures than ever in parks and green spaces as they have become even more integral to our daily lives.

"As we approach two years of living with the pandemic, and we face the challenge of the climate emergency, we feel that now is the right time to review our Municipal Parks Strategy.

"The results of this survey will help to inform the review and will feed into how we manage our parks and green spaces in the future.

"Parks and green spaces refer to all of Cheshire East's green spaces including urban and country parks, formal and informal sports and recreation sites, play areas and small areas of public open space."
