Alsager ELF seeks community participation for environmental awareness event

Alsager Ethical Local Fair Trade group is hosting its first ever environmental awareness event next month (October).

And the group is inviting local schools and gardeners to take part and set up displays at the event at Alsager Civic on Saturday, 31 October.

It takes place from 9.30 am until 12.30 pm with doors open at 8.30 am for set up.

Councillor June Buckley, chair of Alsager ELF Group said: "We would people to come along with a small display.

"We really excited by this event, and feel that in view of the undeniably changing climate it is a particularly pertinent endeavour."
