An Alsager woman is celebrating the second birthday of her dog walking and pet sitting for dogs and cats.

Heidi Moore set up 'Active Tails' on June 16th, 2023 and since then, it has gone from strength to strength.

She said: "In the last 12 months, we unfortunately lost our elderly cat Poppy who was almost 20 years old before she passed away.

"We didn't have an empty home long though as we rescued a two year old Border Collie from Animal Lifeline."

Heidi now works full-tome in the business allowing her to create more group walks through the day, creating spaces for dogs and expand another side of the business - drop-in visits while clients are away on holiday.

Her clients not only come from Alsager but also Rode Heath and Church Lawton

She added: "It's an absolute pleasure looking after everyone's pets and I couldn't have wished for a more fulfilling career."

Heidi who grew up in Alsager and went to Alsager School, said previously: "I grew up with dogs and love everything about animals. I provide a service so people have a choice about catteries or kennels."

"It's so important to keep pets healthy and happy."

"I post regular updates to my Instagram and Social Media so owners can see their pets while they're away," Heidi added.
