Our Motors partner, BYD Crewe, is set to welcome the new BYD Ti7 to its Beswick Drive showroom on Thursday 17 September, giving motorists in Crewe their first chance to see the brand's new seven-seat SUV up close.

The Ti7 is BYD's first seven-seat SUV for the UK and is designed to combine the practicality of a large family car with the efficiency and technology of a plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The new model will be showcased at BYD Crewe as the manufacturer continues to expand its line-up in the UK.

Under the bonnet, the Ti7 uses BYD's DM-p plug-in hybrid technology, producing 408PS and offering an electric-only range of up to 74 miles.

Priced from £47,995 on the road, the Ti7 comes with a substantial list of standard equipment, including a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual 50W wireless smartphone chargers and an in-car refrigerator.

The SUV measures more than five metres in length, giving it the space to accommodate seven occupants while retaining the rugged styling expected from a modern large SUV.

BYD says the Ti7 is aimed at families and drivers looking for a combination of space, performance and lower-emission driving, with the plug-in hybrid system allowing shorter journeys to be completed using electric power alone.

The model is already available to order in the UK, with the first cars due to arrive in showrooms in November and customer deliveries expected from January 2027.

For local motorists, the September 17 appearance at BYD Crewe will offer an early opportunity to get a closer look at the new model ahead of its wider showroom launch.
