On offer is the opportunity for a Plant Fitter to join a nationwide plant hire business who have built a solid reputation as a trust supplier for over 35 years.

In this role, the successful Plant Fitter would be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plant machinery, from 1.5 tonne up to 25 tonne.

The ideal Plant Fitter would have experience in a similar role. Be keen to work as a in a yard, and live local to the Sandbach's area.

The Role:

  • Regularly inspecting engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrical systems and tyres
  • Identifying faults, dismantling parts and repairing or replacing faulty parts,
  • Reassembling parts and testing them to make sure they are working properly and safely,
  • Arranging for machinery that cannot be fixed on site to be moved to the repair workshop,
  • Carrying out routine servicing of plant and equipment both on site and in the workshop

The Person:

  • Plant Fitting experience or similar transferable skills.
  • Local to Sandbachs.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • RTW in the UK.
