Cheshire based swimming school, Puddle Ducks has recently celebrated its most successful year to date, after 12 months of unprecedented growth.
The company, based in Holmes Chapel, recently celebrated its 20th year in business which saw a 20% increase in customers, higher than its pre-pandemic levels.
Puddle Ducks is the leading swimming lesson marketplace and its growth in 2022 means they currently teach over 25,000 children to swim each week across 33 franchises and has put in place plans to expand its network across the country.
This is a completely different story to when during the pandemic, where virtually all lessons and revenue streams were halted. Puddle Ducks, however, saw this as an opportunity and invested in new systems, technology and brand marketing to make sure they were in pole position when the world opened back up again.
"2022 was a fantastic year for Puddle Ducks and we are delighted with our achievements both centrally and individually by our hard-working franchisees. It also happened to be our 20th year in business and of course we made sure we all celebrated this wonderful milestone." commented co-founder and managing director of Puddle Ducks, Jo Stone.
She added "demand for swimming lessons remains incredibly high across the UK and our franchise owners are actively embracing this opportunity for innovation and business growth. It's fantastic to see our franchise network working in sync to achieve Puddle Ducks' ambitions nationwide and we are all extremely motivated to generate greater success as we begin our third decade in business."
As well commercial success, Puddle Ducks was recognised within the franchise industry with a host of awards including finalist for the British Franchise Association and HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award 2022. They also attained their highest ever ranking in the Elite Franchise Top 100, reaching 20th place in the definitive list of best franchise businesses in the UK.
