Officers have warned lockdown-flouting youths causing trouble at a beauty spot in Rode Heath that they will be "dealt with appropriately".

The Odd Rode Police team - which covers Church Lawton, Mow Cop, Rode Heath and Scholar Green attended Rode Heath Rise following complaints of anti-social behaviour.

An Odd Rode Police spokesperson said: "We have recently received a report of youths gathering in Rode Heath Rise, Rode Heath, and behaving in an anti-social manner.

"We will be increasing our patrols in the area.

"Anti-social behaviour is never acceptable and gatherings whilst in lockdown will be dealt with appropriately."
